It is almost too late?

For years no one will listen...
For years we have ignored the problem...
EVERYONE must take action now and DEMAND that out officials do the same....

Are You An Idiot?

More than 5 years ago gas prices were soaring.
I was sitting behind my desk at the car dealership watching my salespeople working deals with customers. I can clearly remember thinking, what a bunch of idiots.  Gas prices will hit $4 a gallon over the next few years and these dumb asses are worried about their monthly car payment.

I had one couple that was worried about their payments going up $75 a month. Little did they know that trading in their small Honda for a Suburban was about to raise their gas bill more than $700 a month.

I warned people about large vehicles and how their value would drop like a wounded bird when it happened. Guess what? It did then and it's happening again.

A Ford Excursion, that gets around 10 mpg going downhill with a good wind behind it, went from a trade value of $21,000 to $12,000 in 30 days. On the other hand older smaller cars that would normally be wholesaled almost double in price.

A '99 Toyota 4 cylinder with 100,000 miles on it, became a hot item. People were parking their new "gas guzzlers" and buying a second car that they could actually afford to drive.

Guess what?  Those times are back again.

Gas Is Cheap?   

The only way to make people change is to let gas go to $5 / gallon.

Yes, you heard me right.

Many countries pay $5, $6 even $7 a gallon for gas. Guess what happened there? People started buying smaller cars, using trains, and not "hopping into the car" every time they need a gallon of milk.

US consumers are spoiled rotten and will NEVER change their lifestyle or buying habits. UNTIL... they are forced to do so via severe financial pain. 

People just don't get it.
